We are now offering an Advanced Group Class The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC)!

Week 2: Welcoming examination and grooming, and walking on a loose lead.

Week 3: Walking through a crowd, sit and down on command, and staying in place.

Week 4: Coming when called, and behaving politely around other dogs

Week 5: Reaction to distractions and supervised separation

Week 6: Testing Day

This class has a cost of $260 which includes the first test.

If you do not pass the first test, you may re test up to 2 more times as needed (3 tests total). Each retest is $30. If you are unable to pass after 3 tests, you must retake the class to test again.

We allow for 1 make up day. This means if you cannot make it to a specific week, you may have a makeup day. If you miss more than 1 week, you must take the class again.

Our trainer has the discretion to determine if your dog is not ready to take the CGC class and reschedule you in a lower level class (Beginner or Intermediate).

We highly recommend completing an Intermediate Group Class before starting this advanced class.

Recall Training

Wait, Focus, and Holding Position

Leash Manners

Does your dog have selective hearing, doesn’t come when called? We can help your dog have more reliable recall both indoors and out. We will practice this skill with common distractions, such as toys, other dogs, and people. We will teach you to be more important to your dog than what is distracting to him or her.

Does your dog run through the door before he or she is invited, won’t hold a sit or a down, maybe he/she is to focused on everything but you? We can help your dog learn how to wait calmly at an open door instead of bolting through it, to stay more focused on hold a sit or a down beside you. Teaching your dog to focus and hold a position will allow you to take them to more places, including friends, family and shopping, as well as provide for better experiences at the vet’s office and parks.

Does your dog pull on the leash, making your walk unpleasant or nonexistent? We can help you teach your dog to walk calmly at your side with a loose leash, even with common distractions such as other dogs, people, and squirrels/cats. With lots of tips and tricks to make walking with your furry friend a more enjoyable experience.

Private Classes

Group Classes

Drop Off Classes

Our private classes offer 1-on-1, hand tailored training with one of our qualified trainers. This allows your dog to focus on you, and you to seek help with specific behaviors, commands, or tools. This is a great option for those who are unsure where to start.

1 hour Classes are $55

We currently offer two types of one hour Group Classes:

Beginner

Our beginner class is great for puppies, or even adult dogs that don’t have much experience with training. Our small groups give your dog the opportunity to learn how to focus, sit, down, leave it, wait and the beginning of stay in a 4 week course.

Intermediate

This class includes more advanced leash manners, obedience with bigger distractions, learning more advanced stay with separation and distraction. This class is a good fit for dogs that have a moderate amount of training, and need help cementing the work and giving consistent results.

This setting also helps teach them to work through the distractions around them as they will learn to pay attention to you instead of the other dogs.

Four week courses are $110

Is your dog in Daycare or Boarding? We can do a personalized, drop off session with your dog to work on commands, focus, or even start on a new trick! This session does not include the owner/handler as the dog will already be at our facility, but does include a breakdown of what the dog knows, what the dog doesn’t know, and how the dog will learn it.

30 minute sessions are $33
